Um, but they just pop in, like I can be sitting in the pool or cleaning the kitchen or whatever, and they'll pop in and I know who they're with and I'll acknowledge them, but I won't let them in to actually talk to me or anything because I have office hours.

No, no, they'll just pop in once in a while to let me know I'm right here. I'm right here. Like, can we talk yet? Type of thing. And, and sometimes they'll give me like pictures and messages, um, of what's going on. Um, and, and you can't stop them. Even with my protection, I, sometimes you can't stop them, but most of the time they're really respectful and we'll wait until I open my space and, and let them come in to talk to me. Right. Right. Right. You asked what a spirit looks like though, what do you, what a spirit looks like and how they come across are two different things. So how does the spirit look to you? You've seen a few, quite a few. What do they look like to you?

Well, I've, I've had a couple of different experiences, right? And I've seen spirits that look like you would expect a spirit to look like a little bit like,

yeah, a little bit transparent, a little bit ethereal, blah, blah, blah.

They look like people. And then I've also seen spirits that look just like you look sitting across from

So solid. Yeah. Okay. So it would be hard to tell sometimes between a spirit and a human. If you didn't know you were looking at a ghost,

Okay. Yeah. So same thing, um, except for, I see them with both my human eyes and my spiritual eyes. So subjectively and objectively, I see them both ways and not all the time. Do I see them with my human eyes? I always

But I always do see them with my spiritual eyes. Um, sometimes they'll, it takes a lot of energy to, to show me, um, them with their, with my human eyes because they have to spend their energy to make themselves more solid and an apparition.

Okay. So that's how I see them. Um, but, um, when you talk to a spirit, it's a lot of the way. That you talk to a human, right? You kind of, it's kind of a whole experience. You use all of your senses. So you and I are talking and we're looking at each other. So I'm seeing you and I'm seeing you're drinking coffee and I'm seeing your phone next to you. Like all the things I'm seeing. So

I can just smell you. You always smell so good.

smell good. Why do you always smell so good? But if, if a spirit wants to show me, for example, um, someone visiting their grave and putting something on their grave, they kind of would, um, show me me above the grave and that person going to the grave and showing the person putting stuff on the grave. Does that make sense?

So they'll show me things like that or

so there's a lot of like actual like story time.

a lot of story time. Yeah. And. Um, you put the feeling in with a story time, so you're watching a really emotional movie basically. So yeah, you get all the feels too, and then you get the senses of, you know, the smells and all of that all at the same time. So there are messages, but they're coming through with all of the Claire's. So it's really, really cool, but sometimes it can be really intimidating, especially in the beginning when I started doing this, um, having lots of spirits come through at the same time. scared the crap out of me because I, I never really wanted to do readings. So I was just trying to get my, my head around it.

it. Right. Well, and I remember that you were like, yeah, I don't know that I'm going to do readings. I'm working with my, my mentor, but I don't know that I like this. And I remember there was one point where you were just in tears saying, I'm not ever going to do this again.

Nannette: 8:04

It, that's true. It's because, um, my, my mentor, she had said that, that she was going to have people come through on her for her family. Well, what happened is I had built. Like, for example, I had a wingtip shoes that came through and I had, you know, a rag top car. And then I had, um, you know, flowers of a certain color and they were all from different people. They weren't with the same person. So the story wasn't there. So it was confusing. And I didn't know how many spirits were there because they didn't show me. It was just, These, these pictures is coming at me really fast and I got really confusing and I, I got freaked out and I started to cry and I actually shut my gifts down for like three months after that cause I felt, I felt invaded, you know, I, I didn't think that that was cool. So in my practice for the longest time, I mean I'm an Aries, I'm a control freak. So I, I've always been telling my spirit guides, you send one through at a time and you all just take turns because I'm not talking. To the whole group, like we're talking one at a time because that's, that's what, how I needed to have it at the time, but things have shifted big time lately. So now I can talk to several of them and it's like talking to a room full of people and they're all respectful, but I can tell where information is coming from. Um, and I can tell when someone extra is in the room, even if they don't talk, I know that they're there. It's like, okay, you haven't said anything yet, but I know you're there. So

And that's called clairvoyance. Clairvoyance, yep. Yeah.

Yeah. I mean, I can feel them too, but, um, like I can feel their personality and all that, but I don't know their story yet because they haven't told me. Do you, do you know what I mean? But usually they'll wait their turn and then pop in with their whole story and then never shut up. So it's a matter of, um, them taking turns. But, but yeah, my practice has shifted a lot lately to where. I get lots of people that come through.

I think I've relaxed enough that, um, and maybe grown enough in my own spirituality that I don't feel like I have to control

yeah. Which is a big deal for me. You know that, like I, I'm not that person. So I, I have to have things just so, and I think it's because of my past. You know, I didn't have control of the things in my life in my past. And so I've had to always control things, but I think I've healed enough, um, body, mind, and soul that I can be like, okay, I'm just going to sit back and you guys all just let me know. Let me know what's going on.

That's a really interesting perspective to be able to say. Yeah, I, I didn't have control over so many aspects of my life. So anything I could control, I had to hold it with an iron grip and now. You're at a point where you go, whoa, wait a minute, it's okay for these things to go on around me without me having to dictate what that looks like.

Nannette: 11:10

Right. And where, as before it was, it was terrifying to have that happen. I mean, it brought me to tears and made me shut things down. Um, now I'm like, Oh, okay. Like I I've worked with my team, my spirit guides, angels, and ancestors enough. To where I implicitly trust them. And, um, so I just sit back and I'm like, okay, give it to me. And then if I have questions about a message that's coming through and it's not coming through clearly, I can just ask my spirit guide and be like, what are they showing me? What is this? And he will tell me. So it's like I have a whole team that's backing me up trying to get the messages through and it's, it's easy. So, and it's really fun, actually. It is really fun. I always. I always stand amazed

it's not quite so moany as most of the hymns. So as far as when somebody comes in, you know, you said that they pregame and you know, you get some, some spirits that'll come in earlier. How do you know who it's going to be for? Like, like if you've got three clients in a day, how can you differentiate who's who and where's where and what's what? Well,

know, not cause I had to have control over it, but now I'm just like, oh, okay, I see you there and that's it. That's all I do. And then I just let them come through when they need to come through with the person cause they'll come through with the person. Um, and usually it's, it's my very first one that's coming through.

Basically when I opened my space. Kind of. Yeah, I do. I do. I tell my team, um, send in the spirits that, have messages of love and hope and light, um, for, and I say the name for this person,

I've done both. It just depends on where I'm at. Um, if I'm here in my room, I'm pretty sure my dog has heard me say it a billion times, but, but then they just, they usher them in. But. Right. Yep. I've had it also happen where the sitter is talking about a spirit that's not there that I can see. And then all of a sudden they swing in front of me and show me themselves. I'm like, Whoa, okay. You just talked about granny and is this what she looks like? And they're like, yes. And then I'm like, okay, granny's got some things to say. If she's going to swing in that quick, she's got something. So I have to stop for a second and then talk to grandma and then swing back to the other people that we were talking to. But it's, it's just like a conversation you're having in a

So that's, that's kind of brought on by whoever your sitter is then, so like essentially their energy is drawing that particular spirit in because they're putting focus on that person.

Absolutely. 100%. It's always about the sitter. It's always about the messages for the sitter. Um, and a lot of times people have an idea of who they want to talk to before they even get here. So,

most of the time you get, well, I'm not in charge of who comes through. I'm not in charge of what goes on on the other side. I don't know if they're busy.
